Norwich North decides

Please Help Me Get My Message Across

Norwich North will be a key battle-ground seat in the election on May 7. Ed Miliband thinks this is the seat that puts him in Downing Street; if you don’t want to see him go to Number 10 then this is the seat to keep Conservative!

The Labour campaign is well-funded by the unions and they will fight a big, negative campaign. That’s why I’m asking for your help to ensure I can bring my message independently to the people of Norwich North. Every donation, however small, will help me be your Member of Parliament.

I’ve had the honour to be the MP for Norwich North for six years now and I want to continue to represent the people of the city I love. I am a hard-working, community MP who gets results. I’ve led the project that’s helped over 1,600 of our young people into work and I’ve won investment to improve the road and rail infrastructure Norwich needs.

There is so much more to be done if we want Norwich to continue to prosper. Here I outline my six-point plan for Norwich and its surroundings. Help me to deliver this ambitious but achievable plan.

My Six-Point Plan

  1. Full employment in Norwich. I will continue to work to bring even more jobs to Norwich. Building on the success of my Norwich For Jobs initiative.
  2. The best schools. There are now more good schools in Norwich than under Labour in 2010. More needs to be done and I work closely with local schools to help them give Norwich children the best start in life.
  3. Standing up for Norwich’s NHS. I will stick up for our local NHS, and work to build a strong, secure economy to fund it.
  4. Better transport for our city and county. We have made great progress and proved the case for investment. I will stay on the case to ensure we get the infrastructure we need for Norwich
  5. A good home for everyone in Norwich. From starter homes to family homes, sustainable development has to work for local people.
  6. Keep Norwich and nearby a great, safe place to live, work, raise a family and retire.

There is so much more to do, but I can’t do it without your help. If you can give a little support, my community team and I put every pound to good use here in Norwich North.

Thank you so much for your support. Together we can keep Norwich North – and Britain – on the road to prosperity.
