Author: Chloe Smith, Updated: 05 March 2015 09:44

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, will on Thursday 5th March 2015 be visiting local farm to discuss the support available to small businesses from the Local Enterprise Partnership.

White House Farm, located in Sprowston, is expanding its offer to include a café and butcher’s shop, as well as to continue and modify the ‘pick-your-own’ service that it offers customers. The farm owners have sought to ensure that the farm works as a viable business in the 21st Century farming industry.

Chloe will be receiving a tour of the farm and will discuss the support available for small businesses and farms. Chloe will receive feedback from the farm owners on what support has been available to them and the ease of the processes involved.

Chloe comments: “It’s great to see small businesses do well in our area and White House Farm has shown how you really can Buy Local in Norwich.  By backing small businesses and enterprise, we have helped create 1.7 million new jobs up and down the country – that’s more people taking home a pay packet each month and being able to provide for their families – and that growth is happening right here in Norwich too.”
