Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, for the month of October gave up pudding to raise money for the East Norwich Youth Project.

Chloe joined in East Norwich Youth Project in their ‘October ACTS’ fundraising activities to raise money for the project to continue their work. Other participants carried out sponsored car washes, head-shaving and ENYP co-ordinator, Danny Doran-Smith will be completing an Iron Man challenge.

Chloe tried to abstaining from pudding both at home and any dinners or lunches in Westminster or Norwich.

Chloe comments: “Given my natural sweet tooth, it was incredibly tough giving up pudding for a month- and I did have a few slips, but for every blip, I did donate money myself to ENYP. I have been a long-standing supporter of ENYP and am delighted to be able to support their fundraising efforts, and would encourage others to consider what they may be able to do to help. I am relieved my pudding-abstinence is over and can now tuck in without feeling guilty or putting myself out of pocket!”

In total Chloe raise £65.05, which includes kind sponsorship from local individuals plus £40.05 which Chloe raised herself either from the cost of puddings foregone or occasionally eaten.
