Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, expects to ask the second question in today’s PMQs as follows:
“It’s as quick to go 225 miles of land and sea from here to Brussels as it is on the train to Norwich, half the distance. Will the Prime Minister agree with me that East Anglia needs investment in faster, better rail infrastructure, and that the Norwich in Ninety taskforce will identify how to bring the benefits to businesses and passengers throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex?”
Chloe chairs the Norwich in Ninety taskforce, which met again last week in Essex, and led the East Anglian Rail Prospectus which united four eastern counties in demands for better rail.
