I welcome the announcement of £132,000 to resurface the footway of Eastern Close in Thorpe St Andrew; as part of a £6.4m package from Norfolk County Council to tackle potholes in Norfolk.

More broadly, I welcome that the Government is investing more than £5 billion in highways maintenance over the course of this Parliament with £2.7 billion invested in maintaining England’s local highway network.

This £6.4m for Norfolk is part of the £200m package the Chancellor announced in the 2023 Budget.
