Sewage issues - Sprowston East and Salhouse

Throughout the week I have been made aware of sewage and flooding issues in the Sprowston East district of the city, severely affecting residents around Salhouse Road, Hammond Way, Hammond Close and Greenborough Road, with some residents sustaining damage to property and possessions, and access difficulties.
Having liaised with Sprowston Town Council, I am assured that the matter has been reported to Norfolk County Council and Anglian Water.
I have written directly to Anglian Water who have responsibility for mains sewers, to enquire as to the cause of the problem, and to clarify what action they are taking to clean-up the situation and urgently address residents' concerns.
