Norfolk-brewed beer was on sale this week in the Houses of Parliament, celebrating Norfolk heroine Edith Cavell.

Pictured are Norfolk MPs Chloe Smith and George Freeman helping serve up a glass of Norfolk heritage in Parliament's "Strangers Bar".

Chloe worked with the charity Cavell Nurses Trust to bring the guest beer to Parliament. George's constituency includes the brewer, the Wolf Brewery of Attleborough.

Chloe said:

"It's a pleasure to support Norfolk small business, a nursing charity and our local heroine Edith Cavell in Parliament, in a light hearted way."

George said:

“I am always delighted to celebrate the successes of small businesses from my constituency and it’s fantastic that a local brewery has been invited to supply the Strangers Bar here in the Palace of Westminster. A great tribute to the life and legacy of the remarkable nurse that was Edith Cavell.”
