Chloe SmithYesterday, the Prime Minister addressed the COP27 Summit in Egypt, announcing plans to triple the Government’s funding on adaptation to £1.5 billion by 2025 and calling for a global push on clean growth.
Investing in cleaner, greener energy sources is one of the Government’s key priorities to push ahead to deliver on their target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
That is why the Prime Minister addressed the COP27 summit yesterday, calling on our international partners to stick to commitments made at COP26 in Glasgow a year ago and committing to triple our funding on climate adaptation to £1.5 billion by 2025.
The UK are leading the world by working to achieve the Government’s target of net zero by 2050, investing in cleaner, greener jobs for the future and pushing for clean growth.
