Household Support Fund

Author: Chloe Smith, Updated: 01 April 2022 14:14

Yesterday, the Government doubled the Household Support Fund to £1 billion, ensuring those who need it most continue to receive vital support to help households in Norwich with the cost of living.

I understand the pressures many people are facing with the rising cost of living, especially pensioners and families with children.

That is why I welcome the extension the Household Support Fund for another six months, providing a £1 billion support package nationally for the most vulnerable households to deal with the rising cost of essentials; with families in Norfolk receiving £6.7m.

With a £22 billion package of support through this year and next, the Government are doing all that they can to support the most vulnerable families with the cost of living.
