Chloe to meet with local FSB branch

Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, will be meeting with the local branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)tomorrow to discuss the Comprehensive Spending Review that was set out in the House of Commons last Wednesday.

Chloe previously met with the FSB following the Chancellor of the Exchequer's budget in June to discuss enterprise measures, changes to National Insurance and VAT rates and other issues across the whole budget.

Commenting on the forthcoming meeting Chloe Smith said:

"I was very encouraged by the Spending Review's business settlements such as pledging £150 million to leverage significant equity investment and to provide guaranteed lending to small businesses, maintaining the science and research budget in cash terms, and increasing funding by £250 million a year on new adult apprenticeships.

"I am very keen to hear the opinions of local businesses in Norwich and to discuss their ideas and concerns. This meeting with the local FSB is now a regular event for me."
