Chloe Smith visits NNAB’s ‘Art of Touch’ exhibition

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, today, Wednesday 2nd September 2015 visited Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind’s (NNAB) exhibition at the forum entitled the ‘Art of Touch’

 

The exhibition is showcasing the NNAB’s creative department’s work, including items from their Effstop photography group, creative writing, arts and crafts members. The exhibition highlights to the public that anything is possible, even without sight.

 

As well as offering the public a chance to see the talents of NNAB’s service users, the event is providing an opportunity for the public to try some of the gadgets that people who suffer with vision-loss use on a day-to-day basis.

 

The exhibition, which runs from 1st-3rd September is running activities and games for both adults and children at the Forum.

 

Chloe comments: “It was incredibly inspiring to visit the ‘Art of Touch’ exhibition today at the forum and learn more about the creative talents of NNAB’s service users. I would encourage others to visit this informative and creative exhibition over the next couple of days.”
