Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North will on Thursday 27th August 2015 at 09.30 be meeting with First Buses to raise concerns on behalf of her constituents about the proposed cancellation of the 11/11A service in Sprowston.

Chloe has been contacted by a number of constituents, many of whom are elderly, about the proposed cancellation of the 11/11A service that goes along cozens Hardy Road in Sprowston. Constituents have raised concerns that the cancellation of this bus will see them unable to visit the local doctors surgery, which is too far for them to walk and will mean that they can no longer attend hospital appointments.

Chloe is meeting with First Buses to discuss the proposed cancellation and put forwards the views of her constituents, many of whom rely heavily on this service. She will be joined by Conservative local councillors for Sprowston.

Chloe comments: "I have been contacted by a number of constituents who are very concerned about the proposed cancellation of this service. They tell me that many of them are unable to walk the extra quarter of a mile to the next bus service and that they worry how they will be able to attend medical appointments without this service. I'm continuing to campaign to help."
