Chloe Smith MP to open Martial Arts school in Mile Cross

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North will on Saturday 17th January 2014, be taking part in the official opening of new Martial Arts school, The Heart of Choi Kwang Do, at the Norman Centre on Bignold Road.

 

The school is a ‘not for profit’ organisation that seeks to serve the local community by providing an opportunity for people to take part in an unusual sport.

 

Chloe, who will be taking part in the official opening of the school, will meet pupils and tutors to learn more about the sport and will try her hand at a few of the techniques.

 

Chloe comments: “Everyone behind this project has worked so hard for it to succeed. I'm sporty myself, so I'm very much looking forward to trying a new sport and helping the school to serve the local community.”

 

Pete Hague, founder of The Heart of Choi Kwang Do School comments: “The aims of The Heart of Choi Kwang Do are to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The method of achieving the Aim of The Heart of Choi Kwang Do is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training tailored to each of the age groups.”
