Chloe Smith: local and national charity leads way in Beating Eating Disorders

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, has thrown her support behind local Norwich charity Beat, marking the end of Eating Disorders Awareness Week (22-28 Feb).

Chloe has signed an Early Day Motion in recognition of the charity, which has 21 years of achievement in supporting the 1.6 million people in the UK who are affected by an eating disorder.

Commenting on the EDM, Chloe Smith said "I think it is essential that we recognise and appreciate the work of charities such as Beat, which has led the way locally and nationally over the last 21 years in offering support to those with eating disorders. We need a continued commitment from all parties for the provision of the high quality, specialist treatment needed to beat eating disorders."
