Chloe joins Work & Pensions Select Committee

Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, joins the influential Work and Pensions Select Committee from today. The Committee has in the recent past scrutinised the Government's work on Pensioner Poverty, the controversial Equality Bill and Disability, Carers, and Workplace Health and Safety. In December and January Chloe will contribute to the Committee's scrutiny of employment programmes and Local Housing Allowance. Chloe's appointment follows her work to date in the constituency on business in the recession, and on youth unemployment.
She comments: "I am delighted to join this Committee and be able to contribute to holding the government to account on very serious matters including pensions, unemployment, disability, caring and benefits."
