Campaign to tackle violence against women and girls

Author: Chloe Smith, Updated: 01 March 2022 11:00

Today the Government will launch a multi-year national communications campaign to tackle violence against women and girls to build back safer.

For too long, the responsibility for women and girls to stay safe has been placed on their shoulders – it is time to say enough and recognise that it is on all of us to demand major change.

That is why the Government are launching a new communications campaign to tackle violence against women and girls, which will include television adverts, billboard signs, social media posts and radio advertisements highlighting the different actions we can all take to challenge perpetrators of abuse.

This campaign will show that everyone can play a role in challenging abuse and make our country a safer place for women and girls.
