Autumn Statement

The Chancellor is right today to focus on growth, including helping people into work. He joins my consistent argument that it's economically right and morally right to include the talent and potential that could be in the UK workforce given the necessary support.
The Autumn Statement includes important measures to help small businesses and the self employed, which will be welcome in my constituency, as well as a focus on significant sectors in the UK economy such as tech.
We're making good progress with inflation down, and Jeremy Hunt is right to try to get money back into people's pockets in terms of raising pay, reducing workers' taxes, and uprating benefits and pensions.
