River Yare at River Green in Thorpe St Andrew

Last week I chaired a local meeting to get action on some pollution issues that relate to the River Yare at River Green in Thorpe St Andrew, which I know are a concern to many residents.
As MP for Norwich North, protecting our environment is one of my priorities and I was reassured that the Broads Authority, Police, Environment Agency, Broadland District Council and Thorpe St Andrew Town Council are proactively working together to deal with sewage and other pollution issues that have happened in recent months. These need to be put right for the sake of all local residents and users of the river like the boat clubs.
Local councillors and I will stay on the case to seek to resolve things as quickly as possible.
