Mental Health Update

Locally in Norwich North, I have been very concerned to hear that the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust has been receiving more referrals than any other mental health trust in England.

I know how hard the staff at the trust work, and I'm in regular communication with the leadership there to support them.  To make sure that the trust has all the help from the Government it can get, I have written directly to the Minister for Mental Health, asking what further support is being provided now and in the future

.I want to ensure our health service works for all and that we deliver equality between mental and physical health services.  So I have always taken up any issues from constituents to do with our mental health services, so that people get the help they need, and I've worked in Parliament for more investment for mental health.  I'll carry on doing that.
