Return to Normal Operations at the NNUH

Author: Chloe Smith, Updated: 18 June 2020 10:59

Before Covid-19, many constituents were waiting for an important operation on the NHS at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH). Some were waiting in severe pain. The rapid momentum of coronavirus understandably demanded that the hospital focus on the pandemic.

Through the great work the NNUH has done through this crisis, the help provided by other important agencies, and your efforts in following all the guidance when asked, we now see Covid-19 cases dwindling in Norfolk.

That is why, today, I have written directly to the Chief Executive of the NNUH asking for an update on when my constituents can expect to see a recommencement of normal operations. Normal in the clinical sense of the word, but critical to some of you.

I have included a big “thank you” in this letter for all that the NHS has done, and support for how they will need to move forward.

As always, if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me by emailing chloe@chloesmith.org.uk, or calling 01603 414756
