Local MP joins Norwich school students at Auschwitz

Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, today joined local school students on a day visit to the site of the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust.

Students from years 12 and 13 at Hellesdon High School and Taverham High School travelled to Poland from Stansted along with others from across the east of England.

Chloe comments:

"It's sobering to have the chance to visit such a significant historical site. I entirely support the work of the Trust and others in ensuring that young people can join in remembrance of the Holocaust. It will be a difficult day but very important."
