RAF Marham will soon be getting a new fighter squadron. The Chancellor’s announcement of £1.2 billion of investment will pay for the new F35 Joint Strike Fighters, which will be based in Norfolk when not on operations.

Commenting on the news Chloe said:

“In an uncertain world it’s vital that our navy’s new aircraft carriers are fully equipped with the best possible fighter planes.

“This investment will ensure that Britain continues to play a leading role on the world stage.

“Basing the squadron here in Norfolk when not on operations is fantastic news for jobs and the wider local economy.”
