Infected blood inquiry update

This month Jackie Doyle-Price, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health, provided a written statement to the Commons. In the statement she updated Parliament on the progress of the inquiry and informed us that the Government plans to extend the deadline for people to make submissions to 18^th October. This is an issue I have worked hard for my constituents on, so I am pleased more people will have an opportunity to have their say on the matter.

 

The minister also mentioned that the Government would be making a further statement after the consultation closes on 18^th October.
