Chloe writes to Culture Secretary about City of Culture bid

In a short letter today to Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Jeremy Hunt MP, Chloe Smith shows her support for the Norwich City of Culture 2013 bid.

With two days left before the judges retire to consider, Chloe has sent Jeremy facts and figures in a round up of the Norwich and Norfolk Festival, as well as a sample of Evening News reporting and a copy of her own letter to the local press in support of the bid.

She says:

"I thought Jeremy might be interested to read up a bit in relation to Norwich's City of Culture bid 2013. I cannot overstate my passionate belief in my city's bid and I hope that the public support of Members of Parliament can be acknowledged in the judging process."
