Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, today congratulated all those attending the 2010 b-eat Awards in the Houses of Parliament. b-eat is based in Norwich and is the largest charity in the UK supporting people affected by eating disorders and campaigning on their behalf. The b-eat Awards, hosted by Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society, celebrated the best in eating disorder service, recognising the role of professionals, volunteers and young people in supporting those affected. Commenting on the ceremony Chloe Smith said: “It is fantastic to see a local charity celebrating achievement, success and inspiration from across the UK. People of a wide range of ages and backgrounds suffer from eating disorders and I commend the work of b-eat for their work in raising awareness and helping those with them.”
