Chloe SmithMP for Norwich North
Chloe SmithChloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, will on Thursday 28th July 2016, be visiting Norwich-based shipping company, Regional Freight.
Chloe will be receiving a tour of the business to learn more about the challenges a local and UK wide shipping firm faces. Chloe will also take part in a discussion with the business owners about the expected impact the shipping industry will face following the result of the EU Referendum.
Chloe comments “This is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes to see how local businesses like Regional Freight operate and the benefits this brings to the local economy. I have always made it my business to get to know Norwich business, and would welcome hearing from any local firm with their practical experience following the EU referendum result. Import and export issues are crucial now in the way forward for Britain after the vote to leave the EU, and I want to help achieve the best for jobs and trade in Norwich and Britain.”
