Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, today attended an awareness day for a major national brain tumour charity.

The BT Buddies exhibition, which took place at the Forum in Norwich, included a treadmill-athon and a display of radiography masks painted by brain tumour patients.

BT Buddies was set up by Natalya Jagger after her best friend's daughter died from a brain tumour. The purpose of BT Buddies is to provide as much information as possible in one place on high grade brain tumours for patients, families and caregivers in the UK. The website also has a forum area where patients and carers can ask questions, get support and share their stories.

According to Brain Tumour UK, around 3,500 people die in the UK every year from brain tumours, with a third of child deaths from cancer resulting from brain tumours.
