Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North will on Friday 3rd June be visiting Thorpe St Andrew IT firm, Computer Service Centre, to discuss with employees why she thinks Britain will be better off by staying in the EU.

Chloe was invited by CSC's Directors, Christopher Cooper and Jeremy Clarke, to give a presentation to their employees on the benefits of remaining inside the EU and to answer any questions that their employees might have.

Chloe comments ahead of the visit: “I’m looking forward to meeting with Computer Service Centre staff and discussing our membership of the EU.

“As a country, I am glad we are having this debate and a referendum. I will be voting to remain in. Over 3 million British jobs are linked to exports to the EU, including many in services such as IT, so we would do best to keep our membership of the world’s largest single market.

“Being in the EU means jobs, simpler trade and lower prices too.  Norwich families would be hit by an economic shock if the country voted to leave, and young people may take the worst hit of all, as sadly youth unemployment tends to be higher than for older workers. I also believe that we would do well to retain access to vital shared intelligence on crime and terrorism.  On balance, I believe we are better off in the EU and I fear it’s a leap in the dark to vote out."
