This afternoon, Chloe Smith MP presented a small donation to a local charity at John Grooms Court.
On 21st June Chloe Smith led a 21-mile charity bike ride around the Norwich North constituency to raise funds for Livability, the national charity that runs John Grooms Court, a residential home for disabled people. To date, Chloe has raised over £200 in sponsorship money. Chloe met residents of John Grooms Court and members of the charity before presenting a cheque to them. A keen cyclist, Chloe arrived at John Grooms Court on her bike.
Livability emphasises the importance of choice, independence and control in the lives of disabled people, offering residential care services, supported living, lifestyle choices projects and accessible holiday accommodation, plus a school and further education colleges. The charity works with over 8500 disabled people and their families across the UK, including many in Norwich at John Grooms Court.
