Chloe and PwC in charity shop challenge

Chloe Smith, Member of Parliament for Norwich North, today joined staff from Price Waterhouse Cooper at the Barnardo's charity shop on Pound Lane, Thorpe St Andrew for the charity's annual ‘Store Wars.'

‘Store Wars' is a team volunteering and fund-raising initiative created by Barnardo's whereby teams of around 10 individuals are invited to run a local Barnardo's store for one working day, with the challenge of increasing sales (based on an average for that time of year). The team that achieves the highest percentage increase wins.
As one of the UK's leading children's charities, Barnardo's works directly with over 100,000 children, young people and their families every year. It runs 394 vital projects across the UK, including counselling for children who have been abused, fostering and adoption services, vocational training and disability inclusion groups.

Chloe brought along some goods to the store as well as helping the staff instore on the day.
